The Commander X + Pack is a complete system designed for the multi-day backcountry hunter. It comprises an internal frame meat-hauling pack with a detachable 4000 cu in pack bag, offering the versatility to transport gear to a spike camp and transport meat once the hunt is finished. The Commander X frame features a lashing system that includes a compressed wing system and a lower shelf to secure loads to the frame. The pack bag can then be reattached with a series of compression straps over the load. When the meat-hauling frame is not required, the pack bag can be securely attached to the frame for a comfortable carry using zippers. The frame is constructed of dual aluminum stays with a channeled high-density ABS frame to ensure a rigid carry. The removable waist belt comes with pockets, anti-sway straps, and accommodates clip-style holsters. Additionally, the pack includes a drop-down pocket for a rifle or bow, an internal horizontal divider, and is compatible with hydration systems. The pack bag attaches to the frame with zippers or compression straps when the frame is loaded, and the top pocket can be converted into a fanny pack for added convenience.

The pack also has a side fleece-lined spotting scope pocket with a large opening for easy access, as well as an extra-large lower door and a top-loading spindrift collar. Its total capacity is 66L/4000 in³, with a total weight of 9 lbs. 3 oz. The frame weighs 5 lbs. 3 oz., and the pack bag weighs 4 lbs. The torso range is 17" - 21", and the waist belt length is 31" - 53".
