In 1993, Dennis Brune started ALPS out of his one-car garage with the vision to provide more gear to more people. What started as a small company dedicated to encouraging active lifestyles with high-quality products has turned into a family of innovative and collaborative brands. From this humble beginning, ALPS Brands established ALPS OutdoorZ in 2007 with the mission of developing affordable, performance-driven hunting gear. ALPS OutdoorZ started in the hunting industry by producing high-quality hunting furniture and packs, drawing from years of experience building products in those categories for our ALPS Mountaineering brand.

Our unique lashing system secures meat for a long haul, while the smaller profile, lightweight aluminum frame and padded shoulder straps allow for comfortable movement. The padded waist belt can accommodate clip-style holsters, providing a secure way to carry a handgun. The pack is fully equipped with 3 extension lashing straps, a mesh back band, adjustable shoulder harness, and organizational wing pockets. With a weight of 4 lbs. 11 oz., torso range of 17" - 23", and waist belt length of 31" - 53", this pack is designed to meet the needs of hunters who require functionality and durability in their gear.

Our experience in producing furniture and packs for ALPS Mountaineering brand has provided us with the knowledge and expertise to create high-quality hunting gear for the ALPS OutdoorZ brand. While there are several technologies that do crossover, there are clear differences between the features of hunting packs and backpacking packs, and we have tailored our products to meet the specific needs of hunters.
